ZACKARY DRUCKER
At Least You Know You Exist
July 7 - September 10

I had the pleasure of seeing this film last year at CalArts and highly recommend it to anyone who seeks exciting, engaging, and challenging artwork. Zackary's vibrant work explores the complexities of navigating trans identity within the confines of contemporary society, any beyond. In this film she showcases a tender inter-generational connection between two artists: herself and the legendary Flawless Sabrina. The result is a fantastical menagerie of costumes, make-up, sensitive interactions and contemplative narration... a beautiful and emotional observation of, as the press release states, the much overlooked legacy of queerness.

HERE is a great interview of Zackary in her home by Kyle Fitzpatrick from Los Angeles I'm Yours

Zackary's collaboration with her boyfriend Rhys Ernst, She Gone Rogue, is on view as part of MADE IN LA @ the HAMMER

Whether you're in NYC or LA, there's a bit of Zackary for you this summer!
